Sony Ericsson Z600 is a tri-band clamshell style cameraphone, which comes equipped with the latest Bluetooth? technology. Some of the phone?s many features include its MMS capability, a voice memo recorder, polyphonic ringtones, voice control, a joystick, and you can even alter the appearance of the mobile phone with changeable covers.
The Sony Ericsson Z600 has two display screens. The main internal display supports 65,536 colours, and has a good resolution quality of 128 x 160 pixels. This display uses MD-TFD (Mobile Digital Thin Film Diode) technology, which has the advantages of high-speed response for showing video and animations, and good visibility both indoors and out. The second, external display lets you see caller ID, the time, and network and battery status.
The built-in camera provides a choice of picture sizes, and pictures may be edited with the phone?s picture editor. The camera also has a night mode setting for taking shots in poor light conditions, and a timer and mirror to assist with self-portraits. Pictures can be easily passed to others using QuickShare?, or they might be combined into MMS messages and sent to friends.
You can connect the Sony Ericsson Z600 to other phones and compatible devices using Bluetooth?, infrared or cable, and move data between them, such as synchronising your phone with your PC. Pictures, melodies and themes can be transferred between the two devices by simply dragging and dropping files.
As the Sony Ericsson Z600 supports the Java? and Mophun? platforms, this offers a wide range of mobile games and applications for you to download. For those seeking to personalise their phone, there is the potential for downloading many different ringtones, wallpapers, screensavers, or other pictures and images. It is even possible for the musically minded to compose their own ringtones using the included Music DJ? application.
The Sony Ericsson Z600 incorporates GPRS, HSCSD and WAP technology to provide fast and easy mobile Internet access, so that you can surf the Web, or send and receive e-mails with the standard POP3 and SMTP protocol systems.
