Siemens ST55 is a dual band candy bar style camphone, which offers several useful features for both business and personal use, such as a built-in camera, voice memo recorder, voice control, the capability to handle MMS, and a 5-way joystick.
The phone has a TFT LCD display with 120 x 160 pixels resolution, and it supports 65,536 colours. This display can be used to view pictures taken with the phone?s integral CMOS camera, and the images produced are in the JPEG format with a quality ranging up to VGA standard. Pictures may be modified by the addition of special effects, should you so wish.
The Siemens ST55 comes with a choice of polyphonic ringtones for you to play. You may find that there are enough different sounds provided, but you can download more ready-made ringtones if you need them, or you might even compose some of your own using the phone?s melody composer. If you wish to further personalise this phone you can download new logos, screensavers and animations.
With the on-board GPRS, HSCSD and WAP technology, you will have easy and quick access to the mobile Internet, for surfing the Web and for sending and receiving e-mails using the standard POP3 and SMTP protocols. The Siemens ST55 can also be connected to a PC or other compatible device for synchronising your personal data, or for transferring pictures and sound files.
