Siemens A50 is a dual band mobile phone in a candy bar design. Although it is a basic, entry-level phone there are several features that users will find attractive, such as its support for EMS, the capability for Internet access, two integrated games, and the option to change covers.
The Siemens A50 has a 101 x 64 pixels monochrome screen, which is able to display graphics and up to 5 lines of text in a choice of two font sizes. The display is used to present the animated menus, simple graphics and text that the phone can handle. To personalise the phone you can download more ringtones, pictures, sounds, animations or screensavers. Downloads of compatible material is available over the Internet from the www.my-siemens.com website.
With its EMS capability, the Siemens A50 gives you the possibility to send and receive pictures, animations and sounds with your text messages. The additional feature of WAP technology enables the user to benefit from mobile Internet access, and once online it is possible to surf the Web and find a wide variety of information for business use or for pleasure.
