SAGEM myX3-2 is a dual band mobile phone that has a neat candy bar style case. This is a basic entry-level phone and it will suit those who are looking for a budget model that is easy to use. Among this phone?s features is the support for MMS multimedia messaging, onboard GPRS and WAP technology, and polyphonic ringtones.

The display on the myX3-2 is a colour LCD screen with a resolution of 101 x 80 pixels, which can also reproduce up to 4096 different colours. This display is used in menu selection, with the help of the animated coloured icons that the phone uses, and the screen is also used to view any photos, graphics or animations that you send and receive with this phone. With its MMS capability it is possible to send and receive multimedia messages using this phone, and these may combine pictures, animations and sounds with a text message. Although there is no camera to create your own photographs you can download these from a WAP site, or transfer them from a PC via the USB connector.

As with many other mobile phones, the SAGEM myX3-2 is capable of being personalised by downloading new ringtones, wallpapers, animated screensavers and icons. For those who wish to modify the phone?s external appearance, interchangeable front and back covers are also available in different colours. Although Java? technology is not supported in this phone, two games come preloaded in the myX3-2 and more games are downloadable from the InFusio? games catalogue.

The myX3-2 has a GPRS ?always on? connection, and this packet switching system means you only pay for the amount of data you send or receive. The combination of GPRS and WAP technology, together with an integrated browser, also allows you to gain a fast and easy access to the mobile Internet, and to browse for services and information you need from the many WAP sites. The myX3-2 can also connect up to PCs via a USB cable and connector, which enables you to exchange files, pictures or ringtones, and it is also possible to synchronise your personal data when needed.
