I bought this phone about six months ago because I liked the features and I wanted to be a little different from everyone else who had a RAZR. Despite all the wonderful feature, I switched back to a ...Motorola and bought the RAZR V3r because the reception from the LG was not that good. The reception wasn't the fault of the service provider because the problems went away when I acquired the RAZR. My observations on the LG CU500 are:
1) Small and compact. Not as wide as a RAZR, but a little thicker.
2) Very easy to use.
3) Phone only comes with a charger and nothing else. You will have to buy all the accessories separately.
4) This phone takes an optional MicroSD card, so it's nice to be able to expand on your storage.
5) You can use regular headphones with this LG, but the jack has to be 2.5mm. It's better than having to buy a proprietary headphone from the cell phone manufacturer, like you would have to do with other phones.
6) Video recording is limited to only 20 seconds. I don't usually need more than this, but it's nice not being limited.
7) Reception was not as good as the RAZR. Despite all the great features, I need this to be a phone and therefore, reception is of utmost importance to me.
