NEC e616 is one of the most versatile clamshell style cameraphones, offering an advanced dual mode 2G and 3G standard. The mobile phone also provides dual band coverage, the latest Bluetooth? wireless connectivity, and face-to-face videophone mobile communication utilising its video and audio streaming capability.
Two integrated digital cameras are included, enabling you to capture and send high quality pictures and video clips to your friends using MMS, together with any audio, photos or text you wish to communicate.
The NEC E616 also offers all the latest polyphonic and life-like MP3 ringtones, which can play in high quality 40 chord polyphonic sound. The e616 even features a built-in MP3 player that allows you to download and listen to your favourite music while travelling about. A speakerphone is also provided to enable the phone to be used hands-free.
Being Java? enabled, the NEC E616 is capable of downloading the latest games and applications, as well as the usual selection of wallpapers, ringtones, and more. For storage of your data a large 19 MB internal memory is fitted as standard, but a slot is provided in the phone to take a Sony MemoryStick Duo?, which increases the available memory by up to 128 MB.
The NEC E616 is equipped to surf the Web easily and quickly, and you can also use it to send emails, download pictures, colour movie trailers, audio and much more. An advantage of the e616?s use of 3G packet switching and GPRS is that the phone has an always-on Internet connection, which saves time and money over frequent dial-up.
A further feature of the NEC E616 is that it comes equipped with GPS, which enables the phone to be used for location-based services.
