SAGEM myX-7 is a tri-band mobile phone with candy bar styling, which is designed for worldwide use. Among this phone?s features are its support for GPRS and WAP technology, MMS capability, voice memo recorder, speakerphone for hands-free conversations, Hi-Fi and polyphonic ringtones, and it is also Java? enabled.

This phone has a large display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, which is capable of supporting up to 65,536 colours. The phone?s integrated camera also provides a good VGA quality resolution (640 x 480 pixels), and it is able to take still pictures or video up to 15 fps. Several useful camera-related features are included, such as the 4x digital zoom, adjustable exposure settings, picture editor, and a slide-over cover to protect the camera lens.

The SAGEM myX-7 phone can act as an integrated video player/recorder with sound, and it allows you to capture important moments and then send these as part of MMS messages to compatible phones or e-mail addresses, thus sharing your experiences with others. As well as sending or receiving videos in a MMS, you are also able to communicate these files to a compatible device or PC using the infrared link in the phone.

GPRS and WAP capability means that you can use the SAGEM myX-7 on the mobile Internet, and browse the Web for WAP services that interest you. As with many other phones, the appearance and sound of the myX-7 can be personalised in several ways. You can download new wallpapers, screensavers, logos, or ringtones, and you can even record your own ringtones using the phone?s audio recorder. The phone?s covers are also changeable should you wish to alter the external appearance.

This phone?s support for Java? means that it can run Java applications and games, and it is possible to download more of these programs when you wish to use a new game or software application.

For those who need to synchronise their personal data with a PC, PDA or other device, then there is the opportunity of connecting the phone via an infrared link or by data cable, and you are then able to exchange any files or information that you need to transfer.
