Gamers have a new option in portable gaming with the impending release of the Nokia N-Gage 2 mobile gaming handheld later this year. The N-Gage 2 is a follow-up to the original N-Gauge, which was essentially a failure for Nokia, selling less than two million units. Right now, there are two companies signed on to support the platform - EA Mobile and Gameloft. The competition in the portable gaming department is pretty stiff, so we'll see how this second-generation N-Gauge 2 fares. Who knows, maybe they'll surprise us with some new features. The N-gage was have thought to have died a while back, how it has lasted this long is anyones guess.
