E-TEN X500 glofiish smartphone
It?s amazing how much PC smartphones are starting to resemble old-school palm pilots these days. For example, take the E-TEN X500 glofish smartphone, which has a huge 2.8 inch QVGA screen with 128MB ROM and 64MB of RAM. At 0.6 inches thick, it is one of the thinnest of its type.
Yet it is, of course, fully loaded with features. It has a SiRF Star III GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11b/g WiFi, and EDGE radio. Nice. But wait, there is, of course, more. Not only does it have a 2 megapixel camera, but a micro SD slot.
All of this is optimized with Windows Mobile 5.0. To be honest, I?ve been looking at this phone and I see one thing missing. What is it again?oh yes, buttons! Does this thing have a regular keyboard, or is it a slider phone with a QWERTY in there somewhere? Supposedly, this has ?one-thumb? activation for PC commands, but I sure hope those cover basic commands as well.
