The FCC has just approved a new mobile phone from Alcatel, the OT-C820 sliding music phone. It features all of the normal functions of a phone, calling, texting, and taking photos, as well as some nice multimedia functions.
The Alcatel OT-C820 supports full screen video play back on its 2-inch TFT color display, as well as lyrics display and equalizers. Other features of the phone include Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, microSD card slot, tri-band GSM radios (850/1800/1900MHz), flight mode, WAP mobile web, and red backlit keys. The phone's camera also has the ability to record videos.
So far there is no word on pricing of availability.
